I understand a feature in development is the concepts feature that will help users branch out from simplified subjects or concepts. I’ve used some simplified LCSH to support recommender systems and have a data source you may want to re-use that might make the provided suggestions for concept branching more intelligent, based on some data mining work I did several years ago. The data set is here: Illinois Data Bank the csv file titled input_edges_all_2019-05-24_V1.csv contains the data. There is a data dictionary in the readme file there explains how the simplified topics align with a source concept and a related concept. The data of source and related were derived by gathering subjects of items checked out together to build association rules.
